About pinecones+hand-me-downs

Widely enjoyed across many demographics, fairytales and fairy stories are the polestar of pinecones+hand-me-downs. Fairytales teach us valuable lessons, with fabulous metaphors. Even though they are beloved there is an absence of fan art and merchandise out there for the fairy story buff.

Providing most of our work for free, there is a need for a means of support through the company, as a result, we are in our beginning stages of offering hand sewn and embroidered goods, as well as print-to-order fairy merchandise. It is within our values that hobbies and livelihood go hand-in-hand. Offering merchandise, or other goods/media that make sense for the employees within a company to make, align with this value. As a result, as the company grows our product line may be ever changing, but will always align with our polestar.

At pinecones(and)hand-me-downs our mission is —

To make fairy stories and other myths and magic more widely accessible to all, and applying these fairy stories to hobby exploration for employees current and future— in order to combine a hobby and/or interest with a means of livelihood and personal support; while sharing this growing knowledge, of hobby exploration into a means of livelihood, with others.
